Gavin Power

BDS MFDS MSc MOrth FOrth

Gavin qualified as a Dentist in 1996 from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa. He subsequently moved to the UK and worked as a general dental practitioner and  an SHO in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Norfolk, before commencing his 3 year training programme in Orthodontics at Guys Hospital, London.
He obtained a Masters degree in Orthodontics together with the Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

After leaving Guy’s Hospital in 2004, Gavin decided to further his orthodontic training, and was a senior registrar at the Eastman (UCL) and Kingston hospitals where he was awarded  his Fellowship in Orthodontics (FOrth). He was appointed as a consultant in Orthodontics at Wexham Park and
Heatherwood hospitals, and as a  locum consultant at Northwick Park.

His Master’s thesis was on computerised prediction of facial aesthetics after surgical orthodontics in adult patients. His special  areas of interest include aesthetics in the orthodontic patient, child and adult, lingual orthodontics, multidisciplinary work ( restorative, periodontal and orthognathic), and working with patients with cleft lip and palate.

He is a member of the British Dental Association, the British Orthodontic Society, the World Federation of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
 

Neil  Nathwani

BDS,MJDF RCS (Eng), MFDS RCS (Eng)

Neil graduated from Guy’s, King’s  and St. Thomas in 2006. During his undergraduate training as a Dentist,  he was awarded a number of prizes.
He has worked in general professional training in hospital appointments in a number of different specialities including restorative dentistry, oral medicine, children’s dentistry ( community and special needs). Also teaching students at Kings College Hospital. His current interests are in all types of  general dentistry and likes treating children. Neil is also currently a prosthodontic specialist trainee at Guy’s Hospital.
 

Yulli Tamayo-Myerson

RDHT Dental Hygienist/ Therapist

Yulli has over 10 year’s Dental experience and has had a variety of roles within the Dental team. She started as a Dental Nurse in 1997 and gained qualification in the dental nursing, oral health education, dental radiography and conscious sedation.

Over the years Yulli has continued to develop her career within Dentistry and she is now a dually qualified Dental Hygienist and Therapist from King’s College London Dental Institute. Her training allows her to carry out preventative and gum treatment for adults and children, place fillings in adults and perform an extensive range of dental treatments on deciduous teeth ( milk teeth ).

Yulli is passionate about dentistry; she enjoys working with nervous patient’s to overcome their fear of dentistry and believes that the secret to delivering excellent Dental care is excellent communication. She believes that through clear and effective communication the patient can be guided into taking an active role in their dental treatment and oral health.

Yulli regularly attends conferences and seminars and is constantly setting her self new academic and clinical goals to update and improve her skills. She is a registered member of the General Dental Council, the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy and the British Association of Dental Therapist.
 

Wilfred Chan

Wilfred has followed a higher pathway afer qualifying. He left the hospital system to pursue a career within private dentistry in London and offers his support to referring dentists. He is registered as a Specialist in Endodontics
